Blacksmithing
and Cutlery
by Gérard HEUTTE

Welcome at Coustil!
|
These pages are about my passions: Blacksmithing and Cutlery.
If you are a bladesmith or on the way to become one, you will find here
technical and practical information. This site does not aim to be
exhaustive. My wish is to share my experiments and to help
the beginners to surmount some obstacles...
Among the tackled subjects, you will find: How to equip yourself, some particular technical
points, some creations of knives or tools, and especially the entrance points to learn and
progress (tutorials, books, sites and addresses). And be careful with your
safety before starting!
Incidentally, I became prfessionnal some time ago. Consult
"For sale"
page to see what I can build for you!
But the vast majority of this website remains based on the technical aspects and knowledge sharing ...
Good reading and good fire
